Ticket Back - A cool acoustic group that featured the husband and wife team of Rim and Kathy Vining. Pete Mealy played upright bass (now a successful performer as a duo with his wife) and I, of course, played harmonica. We had some great gigs at the Birchmere in Washington DC sharing the stage with the likes of Tom Paxton, Steve Gillette, etc. This group made a self produced tape. Today we would have skipped the tape thing.

Miller's is a musician's bar in Charlottesville, Virginia. The now famous Dave Matthews used to bartend there and actually brought beer to me on stage! I still play at Miller's a lot with both my blues band and with Terri Allard.
